As pleasing as it is to see the wheels in motion, I hope they also remove the boxes from the Sainsbury's and stick some more seats on it. It looks so lopsided as it is and I have been hoping for it since the terrible day they destroyed the old terrace.

I think the scoreboard in the VR 360 is broken.

What will happen to my Centenary brick ?
SJ promised (for £50) that it would be incorporated into any new stadium build. But SJ also tried to sell me a "Club and ground re-united" T-shirt.
Or will the old bricks be lorried down to Brighton for target practice ?

Looks good to me. A museum as well to house the Zenith Data Cup.

It’s a nightmare getting to, but especially getting out off.
My architect mate was right about decision having been made, expect planning application soon when I had lunch with him early November. It does look very good, but leaves the impression that the main Sainsbury issue has not yet been resolved. This is disappointing but guess it’s a money issue, so one step at a time.
Do believe the council won’t block the plans; no other realistic option avail even.

Are we not allowing the green-eyed monster to cloud our judgment a little? It has a station right outside, with trains to a variety of destinations, every 10 minutes on match days, is on a main road, has three car parks, a park and ride and is served by a lot of bus services. Selhurst Park is no picnic in the park on match days and surrounding infrastructure is going to be one of our issues.

Will need to have deep foundations to cope with the excessive load of Palace's trophy cabinet. Or just for fat b'stads like me. Hope there's going to be plenty of leg room

Good point. This may be how they're going to extend the pitch - by removing the boxes an re-working the stand - but it's not in any of the press releases and not clear from the presentation / renderings.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

They only need to extend it by a few meters (its already 101m x 68m) so could lose the walkway at the front of the WH to do so...or perhaps a few rows...any losses being more than compensated for in the new stand.
