Don’t believe Houghton is purporting to be a financial guru of the club. We’re all well aware of the £45 mil loss in the last two accounts and whatever in the next set of accounts. You can call that having no money. I don’t know what else there is to reveal and on just this which we all know Ray Houghton is correct.

The Independent is claiming that Zaha is expecting to join Everton for £65m prior to the window closing ( those mysterious sources again). So Wilf's roumoured reasons for leaving us are to play in Champs League - are Everton in that - no, are they likely to be anytime soon - no..!! Move on - non story in what will be a halter skelter ride over the next couple of days of media generated nonsense regarding Wilf..!! IMO he will be with us for this season then go to Chelsea at the end of the season - then good luck to him gives him everything he wants - stay in London and Champs League football- to prove himself on the big stage..!! Players like Zaha are a football celebrity cash cow. Everton publicly stated that the matter is closed. I trust that far more than the ball-washing liars in the media. Sky news are the worst. Wilf has been fulfilling his media duties for the club, photo shoots, and has been back in training. Roy says all is well. All the snowflakes on this forum need to calm down.

But it’s usually the case that when a player really wants to leave ( and Zaha clearly does) the club really can’t stop it happening. Can we get someone in to replace him in time.....?
