Crystal Palace have refused permission for Bolton Wanderers to speak to manager Dougie Freedman

The Press had reported that Bolton Wanderers have made an official approach to speak to Freedman regarding their vacant managerial position.

A tweet by the Official Palace twitter account has stated:

"Permission has not been granted by #cpfc for Bolton to speak with manager Dougie Freedman"

This might not be the end to the matter though as Richard Cawley from the South London Press has tweeted

My understanding is that #bwfc are likely to be cleared to speak to Freedman if they come up with adequate compensation. #cpfc ?@RichCawleySLP
