Dougie Freedman has recovered from his groin injury and should make the bench, but defenders Leon Cort (hamstring) and Danny Butterfield (groin) are out.
Derby striker Steve Howard misses his first match of the season due to a suspension. Midfielder Bob Malcolm, who had been out with an ankle injury, is set to return.
