Palace are knocked out of the Surrey Senior Cup losing 2-1 to Tooting & Mitcham.

Palace fielded a young inexperienced team for the 3rd round tie against Tooting & Mitcham at Imperial Fields.

Lewwis Spence, David Wilkinson, Lewis Grabban, Charlie Sheringham and Tom Lyons were amongst the Palace lineup, who were battling for a quarter final tie against Ash United or Bookham.

The Eagles only managed one decent shot on target during the whole match, which was an unstoppable shot into the top corner from Spence on 35 minutes, which put Palace 1-0 up at the half time break.

Tooting & Mitcham came out fighting after the break and a goal from Paul Vines put the Rymans Division One side level.

Soon after it was more misery for Palace when Tooting's Vernon Francis headed past Wilkinson to make it 2-1.

Tooting & Mitcham held on to the lead, for the rest of the match to put them through to the Quarter Finals, and dump Palace out of the cup.
