Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor is eyeing up a move for Lincoln left-back Jeff Hughes.
Taylor needs a left-sided defender with Danny Granville out of contract in the summer.
The 21-year-old is a Northern Ireland international and would cost in the region of £500,000.
Taylor said: "We have had him watched. I tracked him when I was at Hull, and he is a decent player.
"But I don’t know where the reports have come from, so I’d better give my scouts a bit of a grilling."
