Neil Warnock has shaken up his backroom staff ahead of the new 2009/10 season.

Ronnie Jepson has been appointed development coach and reserve team manager, Chris Short is the new first team fitness coach in place of Louis Langdown and Kevin Randall is the new chief scout after Allan Gemmell left.

Warnock said: "Ronnie will be a big asset to the club and the players that he will be looking after. He will also be vital in nurturing our young players.

"Chris is somebody who I have known for many years. He is a total professional and is dedicated to the fitness programme and he knows how I work.

"Kevin steps in at difficult time, what with the departure of Allan Gemmell, but I know him from Sheffield United where he did a great job. He will not actually be based down here but up north and will travel down occasionally."

Mick Jones is still Warnock's no.2 and Jim Stannard remains as the club's goalkeeping coach.
