Crystal Palace
New boy Darren Ambrose is determined to make a name for himself at Crystal Palace.
After completing his recent switch from League One outfit Charlton, Ambrose is excited about the fresh challenge at Selhurst Park.
Ambrose's frustrating last season with the Addicks culminated in relegation and the 25-year-old is eager to reach the impressive form at Ipswich which earned him a big move to Newcastle in 2005.
"I think I need to prove to myself more than anything that I’m still a good player," Ambrose told the South London Press. "Hopefully I can get that out of myself.
"People will say I’ve got something to prove because I played well at Ipswich and Newcastle but I just want to get back to enjoying my football under a good manager - if I do that it’s going to show in my performances on the pitch."
