Palace v Wimbledon

Selhurst Park, Tuesday 8.00pm

Wimbledon

Wimbledon

Team news

With little left to play for this season, despite the ten games remaining, Palace will be hoping that, what is likely to be the last ever game against the squatters at Selhurst Park, will end on a bright note.

With Cedric Berthelin suffering from a groin injury that he picked up against Reading, Trevor Francis will be forced to play out of favour ALEX KOLINKO in goal from the first minute.

Another injury casualty from Saturday’s game is Tony Popovic who was also subsituted during the course of the 2-1 defeat.

With Popovic unlikely to be fit in time to face the Dons, Kit Symons will partner Darren Powell in central defence.

Wimbledon manager Stuart Murdoch is unlikely to change the starting XI which beat Millwall 2-0 last Saturday.

This means former Eagles favourite Neil Shipperly will once again line up with David Connolly in attack while Patrick Agyemang will start from the substitutes bench.

One to watch

Neil Shipperley

Wimbledon's top scorer

David Connolly - 18 goals

Wimbledon's bad boy

Mark Williams - 4 1

Palace old boys

Neil Shipperley

Despite his strike partner's better goals to games ratio, Shipperley will provide a stern test for Palace's back line. Many eagles supporters were sorry to see him leave Selhurst, and Shipperley will want to live long in their memories, by settling the last ever "landlords" vs tenants derby.
