I was in among the 'Ultras' yesterday in the Holmesdale, they were the only tickets left.
Some observations:
1) I makes me feel like Victor Meldrew to say it, but somebody will end up breaking their neck from crowdsurfing in the stadium.
2) The seats were getting broken from fans bouncing up and down on them. There were two broken seats in the row in front of me - shouldn't we draw the line at wrecking the stadium?
3) I couldn't see the game for some of the time, as there was a huge lad standing on the blue plastic seat and bouncing up and down on it.
4) I had a chuckle at one of the chants that was new to me:'Roy Hodgson's Red and Blue Army/ Bring your vodka and your Charlie.'

Standing and bouncing on seats is stupid. They should be given the bill for replacing those.

Crowd surfing I'm all for, if they break their necks it's their own fault.

Yes they should

The club knows who sat where

I hope they have the guts to charge the individuals concerned to set the goalposts, so as to speak.

And I am staying put. It was fun yesterday, if you get involved it's a really great experience that adds to the game

Sadly not everyone in E block can join in (many are infirm or have youngsters with them for example and others just don't want to) but also the club has made it very hard to do so.

You shouldn't assume everyonw in Block E feels like a victim.

You're only staying put because your seat wasn't on their wish list. If they want it in future for their buddies you'll happy go and sit in B block I presume.

Give over.

Wasn't the singing section meant to be from row 18 back?

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Lol!

Throws them round in the back more when I corner too fast......

Years ago I was looking for a daft email address and tried "horsebox". That was already taken and a number of suggestions popped up, including turbo....

All good. Nothing bad.

You have no idea

No, my seat was right in the middle of the proposed singing section. I just decided to stay put and can be 'persuasive'. You, on the other hand, will never persuade anyone of your viewpoint given the nature of your posts.

A straight nick from Jamie Vardy's having a party. In which context it makes much more sense.

One thing that really bugs me about the HF is their insistence on wearing black. If we're going to have a singing section to create a wall of sound, FFS make it a red and blue wall.

Don't let it bug you! Look around the ground, in winter lots of people are wearing black. I do like the idea of @Mapletree, and any other original Block E season ticket holders, wearing bright colours so we spot them and make sure they are joining in with enough of the chants.

It's probably been mentioned numerous times but what rows in block E are proposed for the singing section?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Im surprised our so-called 'ultras' chose the back of E(or were they told). You cant see them(great) you can just about hear them(not so great) they cant wave flags about(too far back & ceiling too low) & its far too far to the front to 'rush'.

Seems like its all about breaking seats now

So you're saying that despite being directly effected and ear-marked for direct replacement, you managed to persuade Steve Parish to let you stay?
