He really doesn't merit all this ongoing attention. If he was coming our way I suspect he would have arrived by now. Chances are he's holding out for a more glamorous destination or a bigger pay cheque ...or probably both.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

My money's on Benteke signing on or soon after the 23rd. The silence from both clubs speaks volumes to me, as does the odds by the professionals saying he'll be at Palace by the start of the season. Also, his value goes down the longer he waits, and clubs like Palace are shopping NOW - not necessarily in January, where the bidders will be the bottom strugglers with more risk and pressure. He is probably reading about our current bids for alternatives too which if we secure, makes his deal less likely. It's a waiting game, but I think after next weekend we'll all have a better idea of the situation. Whatever, why should we sweat when we've bought our recent trio and still shopping for more?
