Yes, obviously - generally when the aims of a protest are met, people stop protesting.

Be interesting to see, but on the basis that the UK government won't do any of the things you mention we will never know...

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

Yep, I think you're right.

Saturday could be a very unfortunate day all round.

I'd recommend people to stay out of it.

The hardcore event will likely be at the US Embassy, where I understand the march will end. They always seem to be the target whenever there's an opportunity. But as for the 2 minute's silence and respect for the day; I have more hope than most that that portion will be generally kept sane apart from the 'mob' element who always are present at any protest. I may be wrong but I have hope.

Suella Braverman saying it as she sees it.

The lefties are foaming at the mouth, wetting their y-fronts, and incandescent with outrage with her when she was only saying what needs to be said.

More of it, I say, anyone who pisses off the lefties can only be good!

I suspect it was second choice as it is impossible to get near the Israeli embassy.

76% of the population support a ceasefire - this is not some minority fringe movement.

Quite literally the only similarity it has with George Floyd is that it's an international event - the British state had absolutely nothing to do with it, hadn't come out in support of the cops, and the cops weren't responsible for ten thousand civilian deaths.

Sir, everybody would like a ceasefire. including me, and if Hamas had attacked only military targets, we may not be witnessing the response from Israel that is now playing out.

Hamas official, Moussa Abu Marzouk, has stated that "...women, children and civilians were exempt from Hamas's attacks"...

But that is not what happened, so either Hamas is now trying to back pedal because they realise they overstepped a line, or they deliberately killed civilians in the hope that the wider Arab world would join in due to Israel's predicted response. Neither side is innocent; both are guilty, but you prod a hornet's nest and you will get stung, including innocent bystanders.

If it doesn't kick off I'll be highly surprised....Let's just hope we don't get a serious incident or attack.

Hamas are terrorists - of course they deliberately killed civilians and of course they lie about it - that shouldn't be news to anyone.

This is not getting stung - this is a massacre of civilians.

It appeared they also lied about the hospital getting hit by an Israeli attack when it turned out to be a misfire from Gaza. Whilst any civilian death is tragic, how much is due to inappropriate sitings of Hamas ordinance…the analogy is still relevant; it’s just scaled up beyond a comprensable level.

We, the VETS will be in situ, for the whole w/e. The Met know full well what WILL happen, they have banned us from putting our 'flags' on the railings/barriers surrounding the Cenotaph, BUT, they will allow a big pro-palestine/hamas march to go past(twice). Parliament Sq at one end & Trafalgar Sq are 'pinch-points'. This will be inforce Fri PM till early Sun AM. I will be there as will a couple of other HOLers who are also marching, well in my case, being pushed in me chair on the Sunday.

Stay safe people.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Good on you. But be prepared to be labelled a right wing extremist for not following the narrative of the day…

Hamas expected other countries/organisations to join in.

That hasn't happened and they are now back peddling rapidly.

Sadly, innocents are dieing suffering due to the actions of a few 1000 religious zelots.

How often have we heard that!
