Good on you. But be prepared to be labelled a right wing extremist for not following the narrative of the day…

I'm happy with that, i never follow narratives anyway, too old, too long in the tooth, but, i do know right from wrong! Btw, why would anyone on HOL, label me right-wing? We're all sensible people, aren't we?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Hamas being supported by Palestinians is how I see it. Oh well don’t play with the big boys or you will get hurt. Or stick up from yourself and you could end it from the inside.

I was thinking more about certain media outlets who used the term on previous ‘statue protection’ incidents.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

It's amazing that, for all their financial and military support, without which probably Israels illegal occupation of Palestine, its total disregard for their people, enforcing with their army displacement dehumanisation and now mass slaughter of innocents which the USA has even assisted, could not have happened.

How has the USA got into this position?

The Israel PM basically a corrupt thug with little regard for democracy in his own country, Netanyahu seems to be able to tell the world's major power, to basically get knotted.

Humanitarian pause? Come back next week Joe, just keep the money and arms flowing. SP we'll give you four hours.

I would have thought the only place for Israel is securely within its 1967 borders.

If Israel had not been given carte blanche do what it wanted, there would have been no brutal occupation, Hamas not necessary, it feels like Israel responsible for creating it.

As it is the world is watching the dreadful scenes, irrespective of what western governments try to suppress.

I don't think the British public are onboard with the British political establishment, I think they are deeply concerned with what is happening to the Palestinians.

I'd rather we stay out of than act as a mouthpiece for the IDF's propaganda, absolutely.

In reality, I think the ship has already sailed on staying out of it - our politicians have very publicly taken a position and the consequences of that are already in motion.

This protest on Saturday is a matchbox waiting to go up.

Do you still not accept the hospital was hit by a stray missile fired from within Gaza?

Whatever our political impotence on this now, we have some historical legacy here, Palestinian Mandate etc.

The poor Palestinians are caught between Hamas and Israel.

If Hamas can be eliminated then there is a chance of something positive coming out of this awful situation for the people of Gaza and their Israeli neighbours.

This explains to a degree the Labour party's difficulties with policy towards Israel.

Sadly for the ideologues it is non partisan but more a historical review.

Remember the Balfour Declaration was in 1917, nearly 40 years later the world was coming to begin the understand the extent of the Nazi holocaust.

Suella Braverman saying it as she sees it.

The lefties are foaming at the mouth, wetting their y-fronts, and incandescent with outrage with her when she was only saying what needs to be said.

More of it, I say, anyone who pisses off the lefties can only be good!

Braverman is doing no such thing. She is being deliberately provocative in the hope she will be sacked so she can distance herself from Sunak and then challenge for the leadership when it becomes even more obvious the Tories are toast next year.

She is an awful politician. Holding odious views is bad enough but then trading on the terrible situation in Gaza by targeting the understandable anger that many feel over Israel’s disproportionate actions and our government’s weasle words in response is political opportunism of the worst kind.

Describing the protests as “hate marches” is an insult to many ordinary and decent people who don’t have an ounce of hatred in them. Suggesting the police favour “leftish” protests is the kind of nonsense to be found here. Our Home Secretary ought to demonstrate better values and morality than that. She makes me ashamed.

Whether it is wise to hold a protest on Remembrance Day is another question.

Blah, blah, blah...

Hamas, based in Gaza, decided to attack Israel, killing soldiers, civilians, and, oh, lets mention the kids the terrorists killed, by shooting, decapitation and burning.

Hamas knew full well the reaction from Israel. Even people with half a brain could see that the Israelis would wreak vengeance in response to the attack.

Simple, if Hamas had not attacked Israel, Gaza wouldn't have been flattened, no wall to wall TV news gleefully letting the world know how many children were killed by Israel, and there wouldn't be crowds in the streets of London whinging about the nasty Israelis.

Yes, I can maybe see why Muslims are upset, after all, there is a long lasting enmity between the two faiths. But the rest of the bunch grizzling and waving Palestinian flags are mainly lefties, who are intrinsically anti-Jewish, anti-right, in fact, anti-anything they don't agree with.

I saw online there was a group calling themselves "Queers For Palestine". I'm sure they'll be welcome with open arms in Gaza, and then, irrespective of wrapping themselves in a Palestine flag, tossed off of the top of any building that may not have been razed. As likely, if there are no buildings left, there'll be plenty of stones to cheerfully clobber them to death with. They are a perfect example of deranged lefties.

Yes, Palestinians are being killed, but blame Hamas, they were the ones who brought this on.

There are many who don’t actually give a s*** about Gaza. When the next attack in the west happens by Muslims do you think they will have a protest march? Nah course they won’t, they will have a party like they did after 9/11. Bear in mind there was no scapegoat called Israel to put up as a reason either.

We, the VETS will be in situ, for the whole w/e. The Met know full well what WILL happen, they have banned us from putting our 'flags' on the railings/barriers surrounding the Cenotaph, BUT, they will allow a big pro-palestine/hamas march to go past(twice). Parliament Sq at one end & Trafalgar Sq are 'pinch-points'. This will be inforce Fri PM till early Sun AM. I will be there as will a couple of other HOLers who are also marching, well in my case, being pushed in me chair on the Sunday.

Stay safe people.

The pro-Palestine march doesn’t go anywhere the Cenotaph - route map attached.

Why do you think the USA embassy is a good place to stop it. Why not turn left over Vauxhall bridge and finish at Lambeth bridge then all f*** off back to their happy homes wishing sharia law was really here after supporting Hamas for a few hours.
Do you honestly think there will be no trouble. The police have dropped the ball big time, londistan will be just that as guaranteed this will have antifa somewhere about.

I really hope it doesn't kick off, but I can see trouble. The fact there is a spat between the Home Secretary and the Met Police is almost guaranteed to bring out the usual rabble rousers and mischief makers from both sides of the political spectrum.

If it does kick off it'll justify Braverman, and at the same time show the Met Commissioner to the world that he is a wooly-mouthed snowflake who deserves all the crap thrown his way.
