Apparently 'death to America', isn't threatening the west.....Apparently terrorist groups like Hezbollah aren't anything to worry about.....of course when they threaten genocide on Jews this apparently has nothing to do with the west.

Yeah...keep burying your head further into that sand Kermy.

Very unusual moves by the military in Turkey right now. Blocking briges, low flying jets. Possibly a coup d'etat??

It's been a while, but they used to have the odd coup from memory.

This is disgusting. You are an apologist who believes the west should change to suit murderers and terrorists. How dare you.

I am nothing of the sort. I despise these morons and you've used an excuse to get irate in a Daily Mail fashion.

I questioned whether it was worth having some pointless comic causing the 1st murderous crime that led to more. I'd be furious if someone of mine was killed on the pavement that day of the Hebdo attack, liberte or not. They were warned by the nutters and they still poked the wasps' nest. Guess what, the wasps went mad as expected. Perhaps if they just respected this religion are offended by it then friction gone. I think they're evil cowards but a bit of tolerance leaves them with nothing to react to.

I then displayed an understanding of why these murders are continuing. Frustration, hate, dividing Western and Muslim communities. I wasn't condoning it, just highlighting it is so.

This evening I listened to a bit of LBC and Iain Dale and Andrew Pierce showed an understanding of why this was happening too. Are they disgusting? Are they apologists? Maybe you should phone in. What these situations need is an understanding of why, regardless of whether what drives them is rational or fair. Some Muslims did call in to say they detest these extremists and influenced young but it's wiser to listen than alienate even more. Nobody disagreed.

Yeah, what they need is a 'bit of tolerance'....You couldn't make it up.

So do you think that continuing with controversial drawings for a quick laugh was worth it when they were warned of what would happen, and did?

I'm saying tolerate that images of Muhammed are forbidden. Is it really such an uncomfortable change in their society?

I'd quite happily round them all up and drop them in the ocean with the sharks. But how do you when you don't know who all of them are and who will become an extremist? You can't. So taking measures that create more tensions with people you don't even know who they are isn't going to work too well I wouldn't expect.

These people stood up for free speech. Reducing or stopping free speech because of threats.....well that is completely against western values.

I'll fight for it if the time comes.....you do your appeasement.

You AND I won't have to fight for free speech in this country because we're not so stupid to ignore certain aspects of a culture that require a bit of tolerance.

As I said, I'd be fuming if someone of mine had been killed on the pavement that day and not proud that the Hebdo office had printed off another pointless cartoon.

You've got to be f***ing kidding me. It's OUR western society not theirs, which happens to value free speech. Did we massacre people in Egypt after footage emerged of people celebrating the 9/11 attacks?
