The use of a phrase including 'love' could be rightly or wrongly construed as condescending casual misogyny.

It's polite to advise people when being unfriended and to be given an explanation and a chance to apologise if offence has been taken.

Clearly "a concept you are unfamiliar with".

Don't worry I shan't bother you again 'love'.

Hoof, Michaela called what you wrote "childish". It wasn't a personal attack though you took it that way.

I'm oot. Again.

Another chance for all those self proclaimed "intelligent" people to say how "stupid" and "racist" the opposition are.

The more educated the more brainwashed.....apparently.

Well yes, but the problem generally is that the intelligent and educated tend to forget that the rest of the population also have a vote - and there are large sections of the population who aren't notated for

From an outsider perspective, I'm not sure he was the right choice. Little focus on policy, lots on rhetoric, but he seems to have struck a cord with enough of the people in the swing states to construct a victory out of what appears to be very little, but continually repeated phrases.

Now he has to deliver, the people have spoken, and he won't be the first unpopular president in the US with the opposition.

Of course he may not take office, given the issues coming up from the Trump University and an child sex offence issue coming in December.

But he won. If you want a democracy, that sometimes means admitting that you have to accept that its not about 'just you', but everyone. It doesn't mean he's right, or that his supporters are somehow right, but that he has sufficient support to represent the US.

You can't have democracy, and then decide you don't like the outcome of the election because 'the other guy' won.

The constitution, the senate and house of representatives place quite a lot of power over the capacity of the president to implement his personal agenda - and really the Democrats should have been more concerned about these two houses, than the presidency.

Its a poor system, it just happens to be better than the alternatives.

But now the Republicans have a virtual free hand. They have the Senete, the President and house, and potentially the supreme court.

So there really are no excuses to hide behind if they cannot deliver on their stated goals and policy, they have the full political weight of the US behind them.

You are correct. I am unfamiliar with it. Reason being is no one else on here has ever tried to get a cheap laugh out of being rude about me whilst sugar coating it as some sort of joke so I haven't removed someone before.
