Todays first download is a bootleg by Electric Light Orchestra that was recorded for the VH1 Storytellers in New York on 20th April 2001. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a tv audio rip and it sounds fantastic. Some classics by ELO on this one including "Evil Woman" "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Mr Blue Sky". The band hadn't performed together live for 15 years when this was recorded and they were also playing tracks from their album "Zoom" which had just been released. I recently posted a couple of ELO boots - this is another for the collection... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Styx that was recorded at Mantra Studios, Chicago in 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and sounds top notch. I've not posted many shows by Styx over the years as good quality boots are rare. This is a very good one with a top setlist. If you like Styx then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is another set from this years BBC Radio 6Music Festival in Manchester and the set by Jagwar Ma. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted - so if you don't know this band - give this short set a try... Todays first download is a set by Arcade Fire that was recorded in Mexico on the 28th March 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by AF in the last year or so - and this is another for the collection. Some top tracks on this one which features songs from the bands album "Reflektor". If you like Arcade Fire - then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by The Cure that has been put together by a fan. This is the album Disintegration - Live. This has been put together using the best sounding live tracks available from soundboard sources and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of shows by The Cure over the years and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. Bob Smith and the band are on top form for these tracks and if you like The Cure - this is thoroughly recommended... and then some... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are called Chvrches and they are a Scottish electronic music band formed in 2011. The band consist of 3 members who all use various synthesisers. Apart from that I know nothing about this band. The set was recorded at the Hype Machine's Hype Hotel in Austin, Texas on th 14th February 2013 and sounds top notch - so if you like a bit of electronic synth sound - give this one a try... Todays first download is a set by Roger Waters - Mr Pink Floyd himself. This is a show he performed in the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 18th March 2007. The quality of this show is absolutely superb - a top soundboard recording. When I was looking at this one it seemed familiar - it turns out that I've previously posted an FM broadcast of the previous nights show at the same venue. This is a far better version without the rather excitable latin dj's after every track. This is great stuff with RW (and an excellent backing band) performing the whole of DSOTM as well as tracks from WYWH, Animals - as well as solo released stuff. This is a wicked show and this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by former Led Zepellin front man Robert Plant that was recorded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a pre fm broadcast from the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour Radio Show and it sounds wicked. No LZ classics on this on - just Robert Plant solo stuff - with some wicked guitar work by Robbie Blunt. I've posted a few boots by Robert Plant over the years and this is another top sounding boot for the collection... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by Bush that was recorded for Westwood One's FM Radio Show "In The Zone" which was for broadcast on the 15th January 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds wicked. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted and I know nothing about them except what Wiki offers : [Link] - they formed in 1992 until 2002 - then reformed and are still going today... they have released 5 studio albums since 1994. I've had a quick listed and these guys rock... they do a couple of cover versions ending with REM's "The One I Love". If you like Bush - then grab this one.... Todays first download is a set by Depeche Mode that was recorded in Hollywood CA on the 28th March 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM Broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted shed loads of shows by Depeche Mode over the years - including some very recent ones. This is an early show by the band and it features the hit single "Just Can't Get Enough". If you like Depeche Mode - then grab this one, this is thoroughly recommended... These are in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Some classics on this one including an early version of "The Diary Of Horace Wimp". I've posted a few boots by ELO recently - this is another top sounding boot for the collection. If you like ELO - this is a must have.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootlge by this artist that I've posted - I found that hard to believe... so if you like Rick Derringer - grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended..
