Todays first download is a "best of" bootleg which consists of tracks broadcast on the famous Westwood One FM Radio Shows. This boot is in superb quality with all the tracks being taken from pre-FM broadcasts. There are no dates or locations of the recordings but the selection contains some wicked tracks and artists. This boot rocks big time and is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Alice Cooper that was recorded at the Capitol Theater, Passaic, New Jersey on the 10th October 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a dvd audio rip and it sounds top notch. I've lost count of the AC boots and albums I've posted over the years - but on checking my files I note that I have very little from this period in Alice's career. This is a cracking set with a top setlist as Alice belts out classics like "No More Mr Nice Guy" "Billion Dollar Babies" and the classic "Schools Out". If you like Alice Cooper - then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. This is Foxygen and the set they performed at this years Coachella Music And Arts Festival in Indio, CA on the 12th April 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the boot has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. This band formed in 2005 and have released 3 albums to date - several singles and ep's as well. The band have a reputation for their live shows and particularly the lead singer who has been known to climb stage equiptment, hit himself in the face with the microphone - at one gig he fell off the stage and was carted off to hospital with a broken leg. Todays first download is another set by former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett following on from the one I posted the other day. This is a show recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2002. The quality of this bootleg is superb and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds fantastic. Another top setlist on this one with tracks from both his solo career as well as a dip into the Genesis file. Todays second download is a short set by former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr that was recorded at the Lollapalooza Festival, Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 2nd April 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted that many boots by Johnny Marr as a solo performer - but I've posted quite a few when he was with The Smiths. If you like Johnny Marr then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first bootleg by this artist that I've posted - but not the first album as I've previously posted a studio released album. This is Joan As Policewoman and a set recorded at the Cafe De La Danse, Paris, France on the 21st March 2014. Joan as Policewoman or Joan Wasser is from Connecticutt USA and is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and violinist who has released 4 albums to date and a number of EP's and singles (Thanks Wiki). I've had a quick listen to this and the sound quality is superb with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast of the show. If you downloaded the album I posted and like Joan As Policewoman - then this is thoroughly recommended...
