Todays first download is a short set by Coldplay that was recorded last Saturday on the 26th April 2014 at the Kurhaus in Baden-Baden, Germany. The quality of this bootleg is superb with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds absolutely top notch - great sound quality. Coldplay are soon releasing a new album and this show features 5 songs from it. If you like Coldplay and want to hear some new stuff - then grab this show, this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by Kraftwerk that was recorded in Frankfurt, Germany on the 25th January 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast on German FM radio and it sounds top notch. I've not posted any Kraftwerk for a while now so this makes a change. A wicked setlist which includes "Klingklang" and a 15 minute version of "Kohoutek-Kometenmelodie I & II". It has 3 radio announcer intro tracks which can easily be deleted if not wanted. If you like early Kraftwerk - then this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers that was recorded in New York on the 11th April 1999. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a soundboard/IEM matirx recording and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of TP shows over the years - he always puts on a good one, and this is no exception. He plays the classics "Runnin' Down A Dream" "Last Dance With Mary Jane" and "I Won't Back Down". A long set this one with 30 songs - so if you like Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Madonna that was recorded in Tokyo, Japan on the 22nd June 1987 while Madge was on the "Whose That Girl" World tour. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a DVD audio rip of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a fair few boots by Madonna over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. This features the hits " Papa Don't Preach" "Like A Virgin" and "La Isla Bonita". If you like Madonna - then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Kajagoogoo that was recorded in Tokyo, Japan on the 13th July 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - this is because it's the first I've ever seen. I remember this band vaguely from the 80's - thought they were one hit wonders and I still tnink that. They play there only hit "Too Shy" but it seems lost on the Japanese audience - who seem to think they are at a Beatles gig with all the screaming... If you like Kajagoogoo - then grab this show - if not, give them a try... you may even like them... Todays extra download is the first appearance on the mp3 thread of Wye Oak. This is a two piece indie folk/rock outfit from Baltimore, Maryland and they were formed in 2006 under the name of Monarch. They soon changed their name to Wye Oak - a reference to the state tree of the state of Maryland.and have released 4 albums to date (Thanks Wiki). I know nothing about this band - but I'm always on the look out for new stuff - so if you don't know Wye Oak - give this show a try... you never know, you may even like them!...
