Todays extra download is an acoustic set by Def Leppard that was recorded in Singaport in 1996 - the exact date and venue aren't listed. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks and stacks of Def Leppard shows over the years but very few acoustic shows/tracks. If you like Def Leppard, then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Arcade Fire that was recorded at the Pinkpop Festival, Netherlands on the 9th June 2014. I've posted loads of shows by AF over the last year or so and this is another top sounding bootleg for the collection. The band were performing in a thunderstorm and at one point the power was cut - but came back again. The set was cut short after the track Wake Up as the storm had got a lot worse and it was considered unsafe - but it's still a cracking show. If you like Arcade Fire - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Steel Pulse that was recorded at the Keystone, Berekeley, California on the 9th July 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted many shows by Steel Pulse over the years as good quality bootlegs by them are very rare - I only have a few myself, so when I saw this one - I grabbed it immediately. Steel Pulse are a top band and their album "Handsworth Revolution" is one of my favourite reggae albums - and the band play a lot of tracks from it including "Soldiers" "Prodigal Son" "Ku Klux Klan" and the title track itself "Handsworth Revolution". If you like a bit of reggae - download this show.. this is wicked stuff and thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by St. Vincent that was recorded at the Pitchfork Festival, Chicago on the 19th July 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is the second bootleg by St Vincent I've posted recently - I previously posted the bands Glastonbury set. If you grabbed that one - then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by the Arctic Monkeys that was recorded at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on the 1st August 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of AM shows over the years and this is another top sounding bootleg for the collection. A good setlist including the classic "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" and their single "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?". If you lile the Arctic Monkeys grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Manfred Mann's Earth Band that was recorded at the Spectrum, Philadelphia on the 15th October 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of albums and bootlegs by MMEB over the years but I can't see this one in my files. I also have a couple more shows by MMEB to post in the next few days (they have been posted before). This is a great set with a top setlist with great versions of "Spirits In The Night" "Davy's On The Road Again" and the classic "Blinded By The Light". The show ends with one of the bands singles "The Mighty Quinn"... This is a great show and if you like MMEB - this is a must have!... Todays extra download is a set from this years Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago and the set by Portugal, The Man. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by this band that I've posted - and I've not as yet posted any studio stuff. If you like Portugal, The Man and grabbed the previous boot from the ACL festival 2013 then grab this show as well.. this is top stuff and thoroughly recommended.. staffie, As promised, here comes the request. If possible, can you find me, Sound System, The Island Anthology by Steel Pulse. This is a two disk collection incorporating the Albums Handsworth Revolution and Tribute to The Martyrs + a few 12" versions. If this is not possible, can I just have the two said separate albums.
