Todays first download is a set by Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls that was recorded at the Diechbrand Festival in Nordholz, Germany on the 20th July 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted quite a few shows by Frank Turner in the last year - at least 5 not including this one.. this is another top sounding show for the collection. If you like Frank Turner - grab this show.. this is the mutts. Todays second download is a set by Editors that was recorded a the Rock Am Ring Festival in Germany on the 6th June 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a couple of shows by Editors already this year and if you grabbed either of those then grab this show as well - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set from this years Glastonbury Festival and the set by Crystal Fighters. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundoard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted, but not the first album as I've previously posted a studio released album. I thought I'd posted all the Glasto sets for this year but somehow I missed this one first time around. This set was on the John Peel Stage and it's wicked. If you like Crystal Fighters then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a bootleg by guitar legend Eric Clapton. The first part of the bootleg was recorded live at The Filmore, San Francisco on the 9th November 1994 and the second part has been put together from shows in the US and Australia. All are in superb quality and sound absolutely top notch. I've posted loads of albums and bootlegs by EC over the years - this is another top bootleg for the collection. If you like "Old Slowhand" then grab this boot... this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended.. and then some! Todays second download is a set by The Smithereens that was recorded at The Coach House, Ventura, CA on the 14th February 1990. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast on Westwood One FM Radio and it sounds top notch. This is a cracking show which really rocks and the sound is wicked. Todays extra download is a set by 10cc that was recorded at the Cornbury Festival, Oxford on the 6th July 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast on BBC Radio Oxford FM. The band play a good set with loads of 10cc hits but only one member of the original band is in the line up. Still it's a top sounding show and if you like 10cc then give this one a try!... Todays first download is a set by The Pretenders that was recorded at the Paradise Theater, Boston, Mass on the 23rd March 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a vinyl rip from an FM broadcast. I've posted loads of boots by The Pretenders over the years including a few from this 1980 US tour. Some classics on this one like "Kid" "Stop Your Sobbing" and "Brass In Pocket". If you like The Pretenders then grab this one... this is a great show and thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Jimi Goodwin that was recorded at the BBC Radio 6Music festival in Manchester on the 28th February 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds absolutely top notch. Jimi Goodwin is the bass player/vocalist for the band Doves and before that played bass in a dance club music trio called Sub Sub. According to my files this is the first bootleg by Jimi as a solo artist - but not the first album as I've previously posted his solo album called "Odladek" - which is almost entirely played in this set minus a couple of tracks. If you like Jimi Goodwin - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is a set from this years Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee on the 12th June 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - but it won't be the last. They are a band from Cleveland, Ohio and have released 4 studio albums, 1 live album and a few singles. There are 3 members in the band playing guitar, drums and bass... I will probably be posting a couple of their studio released albums in the near future... in the meantime - give them a try...
