Hi staffie - hope you're well. It was good to get down to Selhurst for the Leicester game and the result made it worthwhile. Any chance of the Cream double album Wheels of Fire and, to keep the collection ecclectic, Brian & Michael's single Matchstalk Men & Matchstalk cats & dogs. Thanks as always.

Todays first download is a set by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble that was recorded at the Stone Pony, Asbury Park, New Jersey on the 20th December 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of bootlegs by SRV over the years - this is another top sounding show for the collection. A wicked setlist which includes the classic Jimi Hendrix track "Voodoo Chile". If you've downloaded any of the previous SRV boots I've posted - then grab this one as well... this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!. Todays second download is a set by former CCR guitarist and vocalist John Fogerty that was recorded at the Greek Theatre, Berkeley, CA on the 12th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted many boots or albums by John Fogerty as good quality ones are rare. For many years JF would not perform any of his Creedance Clearwater Revival songs live due to a dispute with his record company. He has now sorted out the dispute and he once again performs classics like Bad Moon Rising and Proud Mary. If you like John Fogerty, then grab this show.. this is the mutts and thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Roger Waters that was recorded at the US Airways Center, Phoenix, Arizona. This is an audience recorded show and it's one of the best ones I've heard from this tour. I've been waiting for a soundboard or FM show from this tour but as yet nothing has appeared. Still this is a cracking show that will do in the meantime. If you like Roger Waters, Pink Floyd then this is a great show... thoroughly recommended for an audience recorded boot.... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few bootlegs by Gary Clark Jr. in the part - he rocks big time.. and this is another top sounding show for the collection. Todays second download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. This is John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band and a set they played at the Bottom Line Club, New York on the 12th September 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. They band are from Rhode Island and have been around since 1972 and are still going today. They have released 4 studio albums. One of their albums "Eddie And The Cruisers - The Motion Picture Soundtrack" was really the band and they got wide international recognition from it. They have been compared to Bruce Springsteen, but I don't really think so... If you don't know this band - give them a try... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted lots of bootlegs and albums by JMJ over the years - and I've posted this one before, but a long time ago now. If you missed this one first time around ... grab it now.. this is a top show and is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. I've not posted anything by Saga for over 5 years now and according to my files only a couple of shows in total. This is a top set and if you like Saga - this is thoroughly recommended.
