Todays first download is a compilation bootleg by Camel that has been put together by a fan which is fantastic. Using only soundboard and fm sources, the quality of these tracks is absolutely top notch.. great quality and a great selection of tracks by the band - but only upto the year 1985. Some are from the 70's - others 80's, but none after 1985. This is great stuff, Camel are one of my favourite bands - this is a great selection of tracks and if you like Camel you will want this one... I think I've probably got all the concerts mentioned below, but having these tracks together on a single boot is wicked... thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Chrissie Hynde that was recorded at the recent "Festival In A Day" in Hyde Park London on the 14th September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast on BBC radio 2 and it sounds top notch. A Good set which plays the hits "Back On The Chain Gant" and "Don't Get Me Wrong" but surprisingly not "Brass In Pocket". Also included are a few tracks from a show at KCSN Morning Show on June 2nd 2014. Chrissie has recently released her latest solo album called "Stockholm" (which I've posted) and both of these shows feature songs from it. If you like Chrissie Hynde - grab this one.. this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Gregory Porter that was recorded in Hamburg, Germany on the 26th October 2012. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by Gregory Porter - but not the first album, as I've previously posted a studio released album. He's been around since 1998 and has released 3 albums to date. He won the 2014 grammy for best jazz vocal album with the album Liquid Spirit (which I posted) - if you like Gregory Porter - then grab this show.... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by the Tedeschi Trucks Band that was recorded a the Phases Of The Moon Festival, Danville, IL on the 13th September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by Tedeschi Trucks Band in the past - but I've also posted bootlegs and albums by Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks as solo performers. This band rock big time and this is a wicked set... If you like the Tedeschi Trucks band then grab this show... if you don't know Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks are married.... this show is wicked - try it!... Todays second download is a set by Echo & The Bunnymen that was recorded at the Pop Carnival TV Show, Sefton Park, Liverpool on the 26th August 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a dvd audio rip and it sounds top notch. The only minor problem with this bootleg is that the volume levels are set too low, so a little additional volume would not be a bad idea. Apart from that it's all good and this is an excellent show. I've posted quite a few shows by Echo & The Bunnymen over the years and this is another show for the collection. This is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted quite a few shows by BBC over the years and this is another top sounding bootleg for the collection. A good setlist and if you like Bombay Bicycle Club - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Deep Purple that was recorded at Le Zenith, Paris on the 19th October 1993. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds fantastic - really good quality sound. I've posted loads of shows and albums by Deep Purple over the years and this is one of the best sounding bootlegs I've posted. A wicked setlist and performance which the audience really enjoy. If you like Deep Purple - grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a bootleg by Status Quo that was recorded at Melbourne and Amsterdam on the band 2010 World tour. The quality of this is superb - a really wicked soundboard bootleg. The band start with a wicked version of "Whatever You Want" and into more headbanging with "Down Down".. this is only a few selected tracks from these two shows - but they are wicked and the boot ends with a couple of classic with "Caroline" and "Rockin' All Over The World"... this is great stuff and classic Quo.... grab it!... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are called Bleachers and they are from New York and they started earlier this year. They have released one album "Strange Desire" and a single from that album "I Wanna Get Better" was released in February 2014. This is the set they recorded at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on the 3rd August 2014 and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard.
