Todays first download isn't a bootleg but it is a live album - and a show by Joe Cocker, who passed away yesterday. This is his last album - a live show recorded in 2013. This is wicked with some classic tracks - especially the wicked version of his biggest hit "With A Little Help From My Friends" - which has a great intro. So long Joe - you were great and you will be missed.... Todays second download is a set by Dream Theater that was recorded at Seinajoki, Finland on the 14th June 2002. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of albums and bootlegs by DT over the years - they always put on a good show... this is no exception, some great rock on this one.... thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is a bootleg by Bob Marley and the Wailers that has been put together by a fan using the best sounding tracks available from the years 1973-1980. The tracks have been taken from Soundboard/FM/TV and Audience recordings of the tracks - and they sound great. A top selection of tracks as well covering 3 cd's. Hats off to whoever put this one together - they did a great job... If you like a bit of Bob Marley and you grabbed the show I posted recently then grab this one as well.... this is thoroughly recommended... and then some! Todays first download is a set by Coldplay that was recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre, London on the 8th December 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of Coldplay shows this year - at least 8 as they've been touring in support of their album "Ghost Stories". If you've downloaded any of those shows - then grab this one as well, this is great stuff and if you like Coldplay this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Mick Taylor that was recorded at the Krypton, Banksville, New York on the 29th May 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Good quality solo boots by Mick Taylor don't come around very often, I only have a few myself - I have more shows where he is with the Rolling Stones than I do solo boots. This is a cracking show and MT has a wicked backing band with him. He plays some fantastic blues/rock on this show - which, if you like Mick Taylor is thoroughly recommended... and then some! Todays extra download is a bootleg by Pink Floyd that features live tracks, alternate versions, demos, and unreleased tracks. This is a wicked bootleg that has been put together by a fan and it's a great job. Some great Pink Floyd on this one, especially the version of "Wish You Were Here" with the legendary violinist Stephane Grappelli. It also contains a couple of tracks from the unreleased "Household Objects" project. If you like a bit of PF then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended...
