Todays first download is a set by Porcupine Tree that was recorded at The Egg, Albany, New York on the 18th October 2007 while the band were on tour in support of their "Fear Of A Blank Planet" album. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted other shows from this tour - but I think this has the edge on sound quality. If you like Porcupine Tree then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a recent set by The Waterboys that was recorded at the Essigfabrik, Cologne, Germany on the 4th February 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Some classic tracks on this one include "A Girl Called Johnny", "Don't Bang The Drum" and "The Whole Of The Moon". I've posted a load of shows by The Waterboys over the years included a recent list of over a 100 bootlegs. If you like The Waterboys then download this one.. this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a bootleg by Lush that was recorded at the Roskilde Festival, Denmark on the 28th June 1991. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by Lush that I've posted - but not the first album as I've posted one of their studio released albums. If you downloaded that - then give this short live show a try... this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a 5CD box set of 100 hits - Punk and New Wave that I spotted and thought I'd post. It's been a while since I posted a box set so here we are... this is great stuff with some real classic tracks on it... some great artists on this one as well.. The Sex Pistols, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, The Stranglers, Simple Minds, Ultravox to name a few.. and loads of others. This is a great box set and this is thoroughly recommended.... and then some! Todays second download is a set by Aerosmith that was recorded at the Neil Blaisdell Arena, Honolulu on the 4th January 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and has been remastered. This is a great show with Steve Tyler and Joe Perry on top form and they play the classics "Mama Kin" "Walk This Way" and "Toys In The Attic". If you like the toxic twins then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by Catherine Wheel that was recorded at the BBC Studios, London on the 9th August 1995. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. I've recently posted another bootleg by CW - Live at the Marquee in London. According to my files I've not (as yet) posted any of their studio released albums. If you grabbed the previous show I posted - then download this one as well.. this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Steely Dan that was recorded at the Sony Studios, New York, NY on the 28th January 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the raw audio feed to the soundboard - and it sounds fantastic, really great quality sound. Steely Dan are a top band and one of my favourties - so I always grab their shows when I see them. They never put on a bad show and the musicians and backing singers are rehearsed and rehearsed until Donald Fagen and Walter Becker are happy they are good enough - and that isn't easy - they are perfectionists!. This is one of the best shows there is and I do have a shorter edited version of it - this is the whole thing and if you like Steely Dan - this is a must have... Todays second download is a set by guitar legend Carlos Santana that was recorded at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, CA on the 17th August 1986. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of shows by CS over the years and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. Some classic tracks on this one include "Incident At Neshabur" "Europa" "Black Magic Woman" and "Toussaint L'Overture" all being played. This is a classic Santana show and if you like some wicked guitar work ... this is it... thoroughly recommended.. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by The Mars Volta that I've posted and only the 4th in total. If you've downloaded any of the previous albums than grab this one.. it sounds wicked and is a top show.. thoroughly recommended...
