Mr. Parish came onto the boards far too quickly in my opinion and he was trying to be 'one of the boys.' Now look through every answer he gave which either (i) gave no information we really did not have already and (ii) in some cases, e.g. the squad size GB inherited, were complete rubbish. Do you not realise how many other teams' fans would love to have this situation and you just cannot see it. SP is "one of the boys". He is a fellow fan. What is wrong with that? Are you jealous of him? Thankfully the vast majority of readers appreciated the posts from SP and took a lot from what he said. The quotes taken from this thread and used in the HOL story here [Link] ARE interesting. That is nothing knee jerk about that. I was on here all night last night and followed the thread till about 1230.the amount of repetative questions on here was ridiculous.I had many questions myself however chose not to post them as by page 6 on the thread everything that was possible to ask had been asked.I n my opinion it turned in to a free for all and a competition to see who could speak to CPFC 2010 first.Grown ups?
The world was a mess but his hair was perfect! |

If people annoy you with their comments it's best to ignore them. It saves us having to read endless pages of childish bickering. Some of the comments did get personal, which is a shame because at the end of the day it is a forum for crystal palace, something we all value. Life would be boring without difference of opinion...

We have seen the dangers of doing a live Q&A means that some "fans" will try to disrupt it. It's fantastic that a football chairman embraces new media. I think he is aware of the pitfalls and will let us know if he wants to do it in a more controlled way. This in some ways would be a shame as it would take the spark out of the "live postings" by SP. I found this thread a great read and hopefully people will be more respectful and realise the thread is not about them next time! Edited by Penge Eagle (02 Jan 2011 5.42pm)
