Zaha was sold for 10 rising to 15 , but the transfer was reported as 15!! I'm sure Rhodes is probably the same, and I would imagine Blackburn are in need of funds they have a huge wage bill.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jordan Rhodes (recommended)' by Moose be great signing and def think he would score goals for us and still very young but transfer fee would prob be 8/9m then couple this with a 4 year contract at i would imagine 40k a week (no idea what he is on at b/burn but say its high)and the final wage bill is over 8m. also his wages could have a snowball affect with other players looking for newer contracts, i say jedi, murray agents would be onto Parish demanding their players wages match rhodes

Yeah , fair comment about snowball effect, but I think the likes of Jedi ,Murray and Rhodes who can be our best hopes of staying up are going to have to be paid something in that region or others will be glad to. And if they keep you up that's value for money in the crazy wages world of the Prem.
