Man Utd display last night was atrocious. They seemed like they didn't want to be there. There was total lack of commitment and the passing was a shambles. I honestly believe Palace must have worn them down with our tactics over the previous weekend. It really is a shame we didn't play them in the same circumstances. We would have hammered them.

I don't think we wore them down. In fact the exact opposite, we made life far too easy for them and they went away thinking they were a lot better than they are.

I take it as a tribute to us that Moyes played a stronger team against us than he did the Greeks . Honestly, Cleverley in for Mata, what was the guy thinking.

We sat far to deep in our game and gave them to much respect yet again. It's about time they started to show these top teams that we can control a game instead of counter attacking all the time.

Considering Mata is cup-tied, I don't think anyone can blame Moyes for dropping him! It was frustrating to watch, despite getting a great kick out of seeing my United-supporting mates fall apart, because United just looked so disinterested! Olympiakos wanted it more, and their counter attacks were brilliant at times. Thought Dominguez looked a tidy player, but I think the main difference, apart from the quality difference, is that Olympiakos showed no fear. Whilst it bares no impact to us as Palace fans, as a fan of football, I thoroughly believe David Moyes' footballing philosophies are fundamentally flawed for United.

My apologies, I hadn't heard or thought about Mata being cup tied, just heard a load of Manure fans phoning in on radio shows complaining about Moyes dropping him and the poor mans Wilf on the wing. Just shows they are as ignorant about their club as I thankfully am.
