I personally think it all depends on Marouane Chamakh. The comprehensive win vs West Brom for me showed the ideal way Pulis wants us to play which is in and around Cham. He wins and retains the ball and is a creative force in the centre of the park. A midfield and attack of Jedi, Ledley, Yannick, Puncheon, Cham and Murray/Jerome is decent and we have other options too. In my opinion we can't really hope to score without him.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

Beat Villa, Cardiff and Fulham, and I think we will be safe. It's imperative we beat Cardiff and Fulham to have any hope of staying up.

It would be lovely it everything was on song when we are playing, but alas it's not. All we can hope for is the team and Pulis have bigger balls than those around us.

Could'nt agree more Leicestershireeagle,a win against Villa and Cardiff are vital but kowing Palace we will lose both games and instead beat Liverpool and Man City,i also think we will take a point at Everton and West Sham.

That goal by Newcastle, I think will be the goal that sends us down. We played well for 93 minutes, then got caught clock watching.
That point would of given us a boost, but now moral will be low.
We need Chamakh back, without him we never look like scoring.
For my money, Cardiff will escape relagation, they will beat us, purely because they score, we dont.

Before the Manure game me and my youngest both said "We're staying up". We had done so well and with our difficult run in I just felt it was imperative to go for the points over the next five games and then the tough home games wouldn't of been so vital. Things seemed to be, unusually, going our way. Fulham were imploding, Cardiff were being Tanned, West Brom Melled and Sunderland were involved in two cup runs. Things couldn't really get much better.
Unfortunately TP decided we were now incapable of attack and went all out defensive hoofball over these five games. Why did he do this? What changed so dramatically? I know one game was Manure but they were hurt and we will rarely have a better chance to play them more on the front foot. Swansea were coming back from a European defeat and were in poor knick, Soton were struggling a little in general and not tearing up any trees away from home and although the fixture computer was unkind there will rarely be a better time to play Sunderland and Newcastle as both were in no real run of form.
Chance missed, I believe.

or another view is that the goal we scored against Aston Villa at Villa Park in the 95th minute netting us 3 points is the one that keeps us up.

We don't know if Palace will get enough points to stay up. But if we're Palace people that's what we must go for. Or give up now. Why?

You must never give up!. I remember as a kid struggling at school, sometimes hopelessly, because I was so retarded but my grand mother use to say," Try and try again and again and never give up". I tried for years and years and in the end I more or less made it but I never ever contemplated giving up. I think Palace will make but not by much!.

Don't get too downhearted. It's not over yet.

I can see us beating Cardiff, draw with West Ham and a win at Fulham if we start to attack.

If we play the way we are atm we are down. Ive been saying for a while we cant draw ourselves to safety.

I can't. They at least have goals in them. They were able to put three past a rampant Liverpool yesterday whilst we have absolutely no firepower up front.

They might be scoring a lot, but they are also conceding a lot Liverpool have conceded 1 fewer than us this season 38 goals in 30 games, we have conceded 39 in 30 so they are a little fragile at the back.

Cardiff played into their hands yesterday and attacked them leaving big holes in their already fragile defense, big mistake, one hopefully we wont make.

If we play like we did yesterday we will be OK, one defender fell asleep in the 94th minute and it cost us,
Bolasie had 2 or 3 chances, Puncheon had a couple, KG and Jerome had chances, and Jedi had a chance, so we are creating chances we just need to work on putting some of these chances away.

Have faith people.

I really don't want us to go down. The last time we was here it took 9 years for us to get back. Going down could take another 9 years.
