More likely told VBHs husband to f*** off than chinned him.

He'll be back, so will the show. Wouldn't mind betting this Sunday's show is simply put back a week or two.

Optimistic as ever

'He should have stuck to things that are not considered grounds for suspension by the BBC, such as the systematic abuse of children on their premises.

Play the game Jezza!'.

If he is sacked the only person I would like to see take his job is vicki butler-Henderson a complete petrol head

That would be one of the worst decicions............in the wooorld.

Hah. I think it's one of those roles where if he goes, the show goes. Either that or they'll carry on and it'll flop.

I'm not so sure tbh.
The fabric of the show is spot on hence it's global popularity. The Vicki Butler call is way off the mark as the show has progressed further than just being about cars and it delivers so much more.
I can't see this this being a publicity stunt as the show doesn't need it. If Clarkson HAS spat his dummy out (he has that right as we all do I guess) I hope things can be sorted and this blows over.

If not then think 'Dr Who' maybe?

I don't watch Top Gear but just like no footballer is bigger than the club its the same here that no presenter is bigger than the show.

I'm sure there is someone else out there that can replace JC, probably not presenting it in the same way but in a different style.
