This post has been merged from a topic called 'Charlie Austin (rumour)' by james03 I think that we should go in for Austin and as Alan Pardew has the backing of Steve Parish and CPFC 2010 this signing along with a few others would take Palace to the next Level. The Board should spend/Invest the money the club has earn't whilst being in the Premier League to move forward,it might seem a lot of Millions to Invest but in Time and providing Palace stay in the Premier League,the Owners and Board will re-coup the outlay. Looking Forward to seeing who we sign but I think Charlie Austin would be a Great Signing,I would still like to see Glen Murray at the Club as well but realise he may have to move across to QPR as part of the proposed move for Austin ?

Instead of a Murray swap that has been mooted, I'd rather pay a few more mill and keep muzza, as he more than proved he is good enough at this level, and with a swap stil would be big light up

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Charlie Austin (rumour)' by james03 I suspect with the financial troubles QPR face they will want a straight cash deal, think we will see them string the sale of Austin out as long as possible to get as much interest from other clubs as possible to get the price up. The way its looking to me is all the same clubs are linked with the same 3-5 players. It will be drawn out until one of those deals is done that the domino effect will come into play with whoever does get Austin then being out the running for Remy etc. For me Austin is more of a lone target man than Remy and for this reason i prefer him. As for outgoing we sell Campbell and loan out Gayle (for a fee). We need to keep Muzza as we know he will do a job and with any new signing no matter how good there is a risk it doesn't work so by keeping him we can if we have to revert back to using him Edited by Mwncisee (21 Jun 2015 1.02pm)
