We need 4 players at least. Centre back raid top championship sides as per normal ( Dawson, Hanley, Caulker all be slight upgrades on an ageing Delaney who still has a part to play but not every week) or take a gamble on a foreign centre back from serie a or Germany as they obviously defend in similar styles in those leagues, I think the French and South American centre halls are often suspect ( look at Liverpool and city) a left back (Robertson, friend or my favourite Olson if Norwich go down) a box to box midfielder ( Diame, cork, McDonald at Wolves ex burnley and playing well below his level in championship) any fikin striker from anywhere! Possibly 2 I suppose it depends on adebayor situation. I would flog them all apart from wickham. I've given up on gayle we'll never play with a front 2 under Pardew rendering him pointless.
