Personally, have found regular exercise together with a healthy diet, plenty of fruit and vegetables have always helped + a multi vitamin.
Hope this helps.

I am generally ok , I enjoy all the shops lit up for Christmas and the business of staying at home with some warming food and candles and the heating on. But the older I get I find it hard to deal with the darker nights and the lack of daylight. It feels like a heavy feeling of sadness. Someone tell me I am not the only one!

I have been feeling it most of 2016. Would rather like to hit ALT CTRL DEL to restart the whole year

I expect you have a very healthy bowel as well.

Not coming on to you or anything, just an observation.

Yeah right. The old "it's whats on the inside that matters line", while thinking " hopefully me".

Mrs Gristle is very much a hater of Winter. I find that getting out for a walk somewhere green, when the sun's out for three quarters of an hour or so, helps a bit.

Got to avoid spending the weekends cooped up indoors, especially if you travel to and from work all week in the dark and have kids!

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

box park for me in cronx Friday night, beers, meet pals, watch England f*** up vs the sweaty socks(probably)
curry half time.
cheer up bubble.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

FFS.... you miserable cnuts.... cheer up!

If anyone has reason to be depressed on here it's me with all my mobility problems but I don't wallow in self pity.

This morning I thought I'd sort out my chest freezer, which was all iced up. I took a hammer to it and smashed the ice to bits.... very therapeutic it was.

I feel buzzed up now.

If you allow yourself to be depressed you will be.

I have the Arabica, light therapy for SAD, it works a treat and is well worth the investment.

I have a Lumie clock. Wakes me up with artificial sunlight, which is meant to make me feel all relaxed and happy for the day. I'm yet to decide whether it's working though, but I do quite like it.

Try hibernating , or seriously play your favourite music loud and dance around your handbag, if you have a bike get out on it, if you haven't, get one, best excercise ever. Sun out today, go for a nice stiff walk, say no to depression !!! X
