Suddenly their is a mood change. With a great result at Bournemouth and some really good looking signings, if we win on Saturday we could easily go to 15th. I would take that for season end and it could be in a few days.

Still only a result away from relegation if we beat Sunderland. A lot of work to be done yet. Full focus and determination non stop now but I agree the mood has changed. You could see signs of it v Everton.

It'll be a tough game and victory would be outstanding. Dunno if I really believe we'll lose one nil...but I've not looked forward to a game like Saturday for aaaaages. A lot of teams around the bottom picking up points here and there. It's not always going to be a case of Palace picking up 3 points with the other teams picking up 1. At the moment we are looking at other teams fixtures and saying they've got the top 4 next, they're screwed but then that same thing will happen to us shortly, and a lot of teams seem to be scalping points off the big boys bar one - US! There's no doubt we should have stolen a point from Everton but we get weak willed and frightened against the bigger teams (Everton aren't even that big) whereas other teams flourish like Hull tonight and Sunderland yesterday. Hopefully that all changes now. If we can win the must-wins as well as get the 1 points here and there off the big boys we'll be okay. I've seen nothing yet to suggest we've turned a corner against the clubs in the top half though.

Sorry for double post but just realised this topic is called 'Mood' and I must come across very pesimistic. I actually think we are looking a much better team and have had the best window of all the bottom clubs! I just don't know if we're mentally strong to go away to Old Trafford and pick up a point. And to be completely fair to Sam, he hasn't even had the opportunity yet! So of course I'm hoping that we have turned a corner and I feel like we will be fine, it's just worth remembering a point for Sunderland against Tottenham and a point for Hull against Man Utd is at this stage more impressive than 3 points against Bournemouth. But we can only compete with what's in front of us.
