Sturgeon gives me a 'soft-on'. A 'first' for any woman

No amount of alcohol would persuade me,...even if she was buying.(which is highly unlikely)
I wouldn't even let her eat my man-porrige

Completely self-obsessed , wee Ginger Krankie.

And "The toeries" blah,blah,blah

Very true. I just saw her on the telly dementedly ranting and raving about Theresa May's refusing the referendum.

You've noticed Sturgeon's anger isn't against the UK and London, but directed against the "toeries".

I think May's refusal to allow the referendum while Brexit negotiations are in full swing is totally justified. Let them have their vote after Brexit by all means, because by then they'll have a better idea of what sort of deal (or no deal) London has negotiated with the EU.

If Sturgeon did get her way and got her referendum before Brexit is finalised, and the Scots voted to leave, Sturgeon would be the leader of a very small country, in severe financial difficulties because of the very low price of oil and having the loss of the billions of subsidies from London.

The Royal Navy would relocate their nuclear submarine base from Scotland, with the loss of thousands of jobs. UK government institutions based in Scotland would be pulled back, creating many more thousands of unemployed.

Seeing Scotland might well end up as an economic basket case if they voted for leaving, multi national businesses with investments there may well get cold feet and relocate to somewhere more financially stable, with the inevitable associated losses of jobs.

The EU have already said their membership would not be instant or even guaranteed seeing as Spain have declared they would veto their entry because they are worried their own separatists would try and follow Scotland's lead.

Sturgeon isn't facing up to David Cameron who was weak and would offer up lots of concessions and inducements to get her to change her mind. Theresa May is no flakey Cameron, and I have a feeling she will just put up brick walls to the demand until the Brexit dealings are done and dusted.

I'd like to think Sturgeon has some sort of cunning plan, maybe it is her way of somehow influencing the Brexit negotiations. If she has, I can't yet see it. If there is no cunning plan in the background, she must be on sort of power trip. or just plain crazy...or both.

.
