If only we could deport Arsenal Football Club.

I must admit, I'm struggling to restrain a semi.

The red sea is a global trade route. It has to be kept safe else the cost and time to ship goods across the world will increase rapidly.
This has been the case for decades - remember the Suez Canal crisis.

Surely the issue is not that we have got involved but why is it only us and the US. Where are Germany, France etc

Please tell me you know why and that's just a joke.

Tories reach new levels of derangement as MPs debate Rwanda bill

Nothing illustrates the tory party’s ongoing meltdown better than its obsession with a scheme that is never going to work.

It's all happening.

Obviously I believe that mass deportations need to happen.

However, I have to agree with you....the whole Rwanda situation is kind of ridiculous as it's just a holding pen for hundreds....people are sold this idea that it's a major solution when it's little more than a figleaf to supporters.

A figleaf that the Tories know is going to be chewed up and delayed by the usual suspects.

It's yet another lie to the Tory base and a waste of hundreds of millions of taxpayer money to essentially push party propaganda to their base.

I do quite like Hitchens, I find him one of the more palatable right-wing commentators - doesn't take himself too seriously, actually has some principle about him, and argues his side well avoiding lazy populist narratives.

I find his position on drugs a little confusing and anti-evidence, but generally he talks some sense and is engaging.

Not sure about the editing on that video though!

He's a difficult and contrarian man but a very noble one.

I probably agree with eighty five percent of his opinions. I'd implement most of it tomorrow. That said some of them appear impractical to me and don't deal with what's possible now.

On drugs I understand his argument about there never really having been a serious war on drugs....I just don't know if that's the right policy or not. I think whatever you do legal or prohibition would damage people under the pretense that it won't.

The Rwanda thing will never happen, certainly not in the numbers anywhere near what is being mooted.

CONcentrate on the policies that are impacting people at the moment.

I would ask if most of these are immigrant children. If all of a sudden all the diseases have appeared do you honestly believe not having your 5 a day has suddenly caused it. It’s not the fault first time the people have been poor but it’s the first time we’ve been awash with immigrants. They can Manipulate the figures, but give facts along with it.
