My first Reaction was a Loss and 11 injuries. But after a moments thought - I don't want the youth coming in and being motivated by an opportunity to get in the first team, so I'd rather the current dross which is the 1st team.

maybe with a couple of select injuries to Holgate and Keane to disrupt their defence.

In defence they have suffered due to the absences of Godfrey and Mina.
Godfrey did start in the Wolves game but Mina was not in the squad.

A very hard fought draw would be perfect, with 20 minutes of injury time. Players come off feeling completely knackered.

Worse case would be for Everton to be a few goals up at half time and relaxing in the 2nd half.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

A draw. With red card for Richarlison and injuries to Gordon and Allan

You wern't far off Spider, Allan has just been sent off, Gordon & Richarlison are both on yellows. Still 0-0 with about 6mins to go & poss 12min added on.

Typical!

I still think we have enough to beat them and the quarter hour injury time is most welcome.

Surprised to see you on a yellow sir! You didn't stick up for Benteke by any chance did you?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

My goodness Newcastle were awful. Everton’s confidence will be up but they also looked poor.

Still promising, thanks for update PC! Been watching West Ham, quite probably the only time I've supported them in my life!

As I was walking towards a Public House tonight with my dear wife I did say to her that I was leaning towards a 1-0 win for Everton.

This might be a confidence booster for Everton, scoring with ten men right before the end sending the home fans into a frenzy. BTW, it was a great, full-blooded contest without all those boring back-passes and fancy stuff playing out from the back.

Nothing to see here. We are very much good enough to beat Everton despite this result. In fact, they will be missing a key player, be tired and still have relegation-avoiding work to do. Plus Newcastle still three points behind us.

Good result in my book.

Edit:. have a look at their fixtures for April.

I watched the first half & then turned it off - to me it looked like the only team that were likely to score was Newcastle & the way Everton were playing up until half time unless they changed a few things they could have played all night & still not scored.

I see from the BBC report that DCL came off the bench & had an effect- I suppose that means he is going to be fit for Sunday.
