Clearly lost the plot and doesn’t like the stick he has brought on himself.
For any that didn’t watch, he put on ear defenders at the start of the 4th set to drown out the boos. Then larged it when he won the first game , capping his ear defenders.
Subsequently got battered 5-1.
Now says he might not play the worlds again. Baby price.

He's brought it on himself Cryrst. With his roaring and carrying on he's got to expect a bit back from the crowd. It's an amazing achievement to become as good as he has after taking darts up when he did and his bad luck to win it when lockdown stopped him capitalising on being champion but it's hard to warm to him on stage.

He was well and truly battered last night by the better player,
Darts fan are like football fans they will rip you to shreds and you have to learn to deal with it, he played rugby before where the fans are quite Tame would be a shame if he quit the sport as he has the talent but a lot of his antics has made home a target.

In the last two years he's won over a million so with his endorsements and exhibition games he can afford a bit of time off.

Like most imbeciles he can dish it out but cannot take it, a very poor sportsman, darts will be better without him.

I met mr whitcombe many moons ago. He ran a pub in Sussex. Bit of a wow it’s him moment at the time. Very normal bloke though.
