He was right about many things.

On space exploration, I have become a bit of a pessimist as to what we can really achieve in the shorter term or even in the far future.
Right now, we can't even get send another rocket to the Moon with any degree or certainty.
With the rise of private enterprise involvement in space travel, I fear that safety will be compromised even more than it was under NASA. It will also depend entirely on the potential for profit. Pure science will be sidelined except where it is needed to exploit.
We will need resources from beyond Earth, but the idea that populations will want to live in big domes surrounded by endless nothingness seems unlikely, and so called atmosphere processing is way beyond us. Where would we go anyway?
Interstellar travel and settlement would require so many solutions to so many problems.
