I have been following this story.

The front man is Charlie Methven the former Sunderland owner who is not well liked up there.

However he is a minority shareholder so he is their Steve Parish and will run the club.

The money man is rumoured to be Joshua Friedman a US billionaire (unconfirmed).

Even if he is it doesn't mean he is going to spend we have 2 of them on our board which the Charlton fans have ignored, they are all assuming its spend spend spend.

We shall see if this ownership is any better than the previous 4.

i reckon that Taxpayer-Stadium belonging to West Ham ? it has sucked a ton of young football fans away from Clowntown.

its only about a hop away on the public transport. And the big stadium probably has tons of space for long floppy shoes.

Until such time as they have an ownership that has the freehold to the stadium and the training ground, I don't see much changing.

Yup I forgot to mention the consortium has only really bought the name, the ground and the training ground are still owned by the Belgian.

So assets nill, annual losses 11m, sounds like a bargain.
