I can't disagree with you Nicholas, it just that I was hoping for much better preparation this year and had hoped SP would learn from previous mistakes but it seems to be the same old story, leave everything to the last minute, no proper preparation for the manager before the season starts. We just lack a degree of urgency in these matters.

I don't really care about WH, my concern is CP and I want them to continue to enjoy playing in the top league in the world. Some of our investors are wealthy enough but by their own admission are not committed to the club long term!

If no one else leaves we should be alright , if the bar is avoiding relegation, and maybe that’s enough.
The frustration comes in when for two close seasons now it has been fairly obvious we were only a couple of decent signings short of being a side better than bottom 10 , with no fear of relegation, it’s that close. But last close season we ended slightly lighter than the year before, and right now having our main man and three others out , with one decent signing in , it wouldn’t seem to be the way to real progress we are on.
Yes the picture could change over the next month , but when the manager , appears to have the same concern, then there must be room for concern.
