Note sure if it's been said about on here yet, so apologies if it has.

I'm not very good at adding the links for things but there's a good free podcast with Steve Parish via podcast: High Performance - Steve Parish Shares All On Crystal Palace Ownership, Roy Hodgson & Ambitious future plans.

Came out today.

He comes across like a pleasant person, thoughtful in his mindset towards others in the business (alluding to his thought on DF when he left) and casts no doubt he's a Palace fan.

Anyway. Worth a listen if you're bored!

Please excuse my old aged ignorance, but do you normally have to pay for a podcast?

Some podcasts are behind a paywall subscription like patreon. Think theres even a daily palace one someone does. Some also have add free versions on a paid sub and have the add supported ones free.

It's a very good listen and a pointer to his single mindedness and sense of purpose as well as his sharp brain.
He excudes positivity but not in a BS way. It's about creating the right mindset to succeeed and to use his phrase 'be the best version of yourself you can be. ' He expect this of others too.
I can be as cynical as the next man, certainly around 'management speak,' but his approach appears grounded in reality with achievable objectives operating in the club's best interests.
He doesn't have the wealth to rapidly transfer the club to a Man City or Newcastle, which some may consider a black mark against him, but he's about sustainable growth.
My youth was spent with the club flitting between the old Divisions 1 and 2 so I for one am appreciative of what he's doing

An excellent interview with Jake Humphrey and Damian Hughes who give Mr Parish a good opportunity to demonstrate that he is probably, by far, the most dedicated, committed, supportive football club chairman and we are fortunate to have him looking after the interests of our club.

He has been successful in (most) of his business ventures so he is clearly very able to deal with complex issues that always arise in any organisation. He is articulate (in a South London kind of way) and no doubt has Palace interests at heart.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

OK, he may look a bit posh, but has Crystal Palace ever had a better chairman?
(Reply) simple: NO!!!!
