Just curious but I have been looking to see how Zaha is getting on. I looked up the Galatasaray website (what a mess that is!). Apart from seeing his name listed as a player I was unable to see his name in any recent line up (including subs). Is he injured or is he just not being picked?

Injured.

Doesn't travel well, does he.

He was lost without us last time as well.

And think what we were offering him.

I could well be wrong but I sort of see it as an ego or one track mind thing. I imagine he though ‘I want to play Champions League football, or at least say I have once career over’ panicked and took possibly the only available option

Either way, thus far, his departure has had far less impact on my footballing perspective than I thought. Olise resigning was bigger news as far as I’m concerned and that tells me something. Look to the future not the past.

Exactly mate, he gave us some great memories and is a palace legend, but we move on. Him leaving is much less of an impact than it would’ve been a few years ago, if it’s had any impact now at all with the rise of Olise and Eze and Wilf starting to show signs that it’s all catching up with him a bit on the fitness front.

Nobody knew that more than him ,its been that way for a while .

Anyway Gala won away 3-2 at Molde last night so look to be in a good position to Qualify for the group stage of the CL with the home leg to go .

Any chance Wilf cancels contract by mutual consent and rejoins us before transfer window.

surprised as Turkish champions that Gala had to go through so many qualifying rounds.
It appears they will now qualify for the group stages but it could have made Wilf's move look a bit stupid if he signed and then a week or so later they get knocked out.

Did Butland join Rangers because he was desperate to play in the Champions League group stages? If he had said that we'd have all laughed.
