Let's be honest, he's in the form of his life for us this season. No wonder he looks so disgusted every time he is subbed off around 70-75 mins. In twelve league appearances he has (for him) an astonishing four goals this season. That is 1 in 3, people. This truly is a goalden era for Odsonne Edouard. I stand corrected. His record is even greater. Today's goal at West Ham took him to a mighty six league goals this season. If he scores against Bournemouth in the week it will be 7 goals in 14 games. A season thus far that has seen him score 5 of our fine total of 13 goals in 13 games. 13 scintillating times we have hit the back of the opposition's net, that's two more than Sheffield United, the same as Luton, and two less than Burnley and Everton. So what does this say about us? Clearly it's nothing to do with our dismal recruitment, or the fact that our full backs never get forward in support, or our midfield never cross the half way line, or, perhaps more to the point, we have manager so wrapped up in his catenaccio past any thought of attacking play is completely anathema to him. That is a worry when you see we’re on a par with the relegation fodder, especially now that we’ve just let in five goals in two games against two of them, we can’t exactly say at least we’re tight at the back at the moment either
