And dont forget to put a flowere in your hair, went there in April, go across the bridge to Sausalito, and obviously Pier 39 for the Clam Chouder, and there is always the little cable cars that climb halfway to the stars

My biggest recommendation is: if you are wanting to visit Alcatraz island - don't expect just to pitch up and get a ticket. Book in advance, or you won't get in.

Worth it though. I went about 20 years ago really enjoyed it.

I was there last week. No problem getting tickets for Alcatraz the same day.
