Sorry guys and girls, its a done deal already, Mr Woke will take over after the Euros. What a disaster, Ukraine, and he plays 3 defensive midfielders, what hope we got....

Cooper may well be sacked by your 'kebab mate who's as mad as a box of frogs' His name btw is Evangelos Marinakis. Try to remember it, ok?

I was wanting to ask the same thing. It's like he didn't get a laugh or response first time round but is convinced it's a hilarious thing to say so just keep posting the same two sentences for months on end.

No, it will be Potter.

Didn’t Potter fail to manage a number of big egos in the Chelsea dressing room?
So why then would he be a front runner to manage the National team?

Potter has been proven to be not very good at the top level . A decent coach in some repects at passy passy look at us aren't we pretty football .
But it never really ever had any end result ,He had taken Brighton as far as he could and it was a suprise that Chelsea turned to him to lock horns with Europes better coaches .

He will get a disfunctional team playing something that makes them competetive but will never make a competitive team winners .

So I just dont see what he would give us ,any new manager is a bit of a punt but I would put Potter down as a long shot to be anything but average at best and more likely a disaster in the making .

And we still need a striker

I don't like Potter much but suspect he's a far superior manager to Southgate. However, I wouldn't want either unless we were in the championship.
I've posted about Potter before, he's too complicated for us, he's a tinker man basically. He'd prefer a much larger squad - although perhaps not the 400 players and 500 interpreters in the Chelsea dressing room.
Nobody's going to do that well with Chelsea unless they can get a settled squad and get half of them out the door - some permanent, some on loan.
Southgate has obvious flaws and just doesn't seem that good at anything except the odd media soundbyte. He's likely the reason England continue to have no real spark and will only bring them so far. He never really changes up when needed and the lack of surprises is unsurprising. He'd be highly likely to bring us, or anyone else, down.

Not surprised he's linked but I don't want him. I also suspect many agree.

Why Palace? Typical media if they actually investigated properly they would realise he has no love for this club, I don't want him.

I watched the game against Ukraine the other night, no attacking intent, passing it side to side then backward. Yes, just the kind of manager we need is Southgate, NOT. It's a whopping great NO from me. Why is it at Palace we always look to ex-players, etc. etc. Where is the forward-thinking.
