My mrs just walked into a harvest spider and web going into the garage and it crawled on her face. She’s ran indoors I checked her over but she ran upstairs, stripped off and now in Jim jams and isn’t overly happy. She didn’t scream but has quite a high heart rate. Now she’s worried it may pop out from her ear or hair later. Which I’ve assured her it won’t. Fingers crossed
So spiders; yes or no !

A very big YES! They control the flies that enter the house.

We've got a real whopper running around, it's as big as a golf ball, herself has missed seeing it for three days but we're approaching the event horizon which will bring on a fit of the screaming ab dabs. I could put it out but it's good to keep her on her toes.

One of the places I lived had a family of Gecko's living in one of the dark kitchen cupboards, absolutely great for keeping any would be bug inhabitants at bay.

Absolutely; and in Spain it is considered lucky to get one in the House, but not a lizard, they have pointy toes, Geckos round toes.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

No, no no.

I watch Tv in the evenings with one eye on the screen and the other on the door to make sure that none are coming in. In this heat I still keep the windows closed in case any come in.

I thought that as I got older my arachnophobia would lesson. wrong, wrong, wrong as if anything it's got worse.

My sister lives in Sydney and keeps asking wen we're going to visit. Never I reply as there are too many spiders

Just in this last couple of weeks I’ve killed three of the biggest spiders indoors I’ve ever seen, I’ve kept it quiet from the mrs and offspring because they’ll freak out, but they did look like some sort of massive freak mutation!! The spiders I mean, not the family

I have visited Australia 3 times and can report that thankfully I never experienced any spider issues.

On one occasion we visited a Wildlife Park and as part of a show a member of staff emptied a deadly spider out of a box for all to view.I cannot recall the species and I certainly never stroked it !!

call me a wuss, but i do get a guilt-trip when i murder an innocent Spider. Especially considering they are the goodies that kill nasty dirty flies.

not keen on them, but try to leave em alone unless they need removed at work.
sods always up in the eaves when I have to dust out prior to painting.
However do find them pretty repulsive if bigger & you can see the detail, as it were.
Had a couple of bad wobbles up ladders & on roofs a couple of times due to an unwanted spider visit.
would never visit Oz or some other countries due to the big beasty varieties

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.
