He was the thief I believe. Helen Mirren - can't remember who the woman in The Singing Detective was. But she was certainly fine. He was in some good stuff and I was certainly entertained.

His role as Eddie Temple in Layer Cake seems to be the one a lot of people are talking about. Admittedly, he got some pretty good lines in it. RIP.

Assuming you mean the nurse, it was Joanne Whalley, who later married Val Kilmer. Yes, she was well 'fit', as befitted the part of being an erotic fantasy figure for the patient suffering from psoriasis.
