You are right!

Did Wally Hinshelwood ever play for Palace?

I had to Google it, no he didn’t, but looking at the photos that came up, you can see the family resemblance

To answer the question in the OP; Yes I did know.

Did Wally Hinshelwood play for Palace? No.

Martin Hinshelwood - Jack's great uncle - is Brighton's director of football (whatever that means).

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

So former weed player Adam Hinshelwood who is currently Worthing manager is Paul’s son? I always thought he was Martin’s son. You would think as Doris was one of my all time favourite players I would know this, you learn something new every day

Wasn't one of the Hinshelwoods father our groundskeeper back in the day when Doris was playing?

Why are we bothered, or is it to give nsc more reason to call us "Nigels"? Get a grip, jeez.

I think as palace fans of a certain vintage it’s fair to have an interest in the name Hinshelwood

Especially as my real name is Nigel
