I don't believe that Guardiola, Klopp, Arteta and Postecoglu have been shown the door.

Ok. We should interview them 4, then pick who we want.

I think tomorrow's match against Brentford will be critical to determining what happens next. A good win, with us playing reasonably well, should see Roy being kept on, as we will have 21 points, with only 5 more wins required from 18 games to see us safe, or 4 wins if we throw in some draws. In such a scenario, Parish will need to decide if he wants to try to secure Cooper's services now for the summer, or leave it until later, when he may or may not still be available but other managers may become available. If we lose tomorrow and badly in terms of the performance, then I think it's quite likely that Roy will go immediately and Cooper will probably be brought in. A draw makes things more tricky and it will depend very much on how the team performs and to what extent Roy is at fault for failing to secure the win but the odds are still likely that he will have to go. So in short, I think a win tomorrow will probably see Roy stay until the end of the season, as he should be able to secure another 15 or so points from the remaining 18 games.

From what I'm reading there's a split in the club's hierarchy as to whether Hodgson stays or goes ( it sounds like it reflects this forum)!
It does sound though that Hodgson still has the support of Parish.
Nobody seems quite clear how the owners vote on these key decisions or whether Parish has the casting vote in the event of a split.
It seems to me though that some of the noise has died down in the last day or so.
Unless the club suffer a bad defeat today, I suspect Hodgson to stay for the foreseeable future.

I read that click bait rubbish too.

Which of the club's so called hierarchy would have a say in the matter. Certainly not the three American directors as they wouldn't have a clue about the runners and riders so who does that leave?

A few thoughts of mine.

Seems fans always complain about the lack of investment or ability to improve as a club. I do agree that the Harris and Blitzer situation is holding us back. However, I do believe we are gradually moving forwards. The quality of our squad has got better. The whole of the Premier league are constantly getting better so it is a case of you have to improve just to stay in the same place. It's very competitive and difficult to do.

As for Roy it's a tricky one. I personally rate him and think he does well with what he has. He is a safe pair of hands and it'll be a gamble to replace him now. If we move Roy on then we get Cooper. For me the jury is out on him.

I think we should stay with Roy, i am sure a couple of loans will come in, there is no quality manager available for the job, and the rubbish (Imo) could send us down, i would prepare for a new manager for next season, maybe even poach one from another club who hasnt been sacked

Parish himself has said that certain powers are reserved to the owners.
He said, for example, that for key decisions and signing cheques above a certain amount, all owners have voting rights.
It's very difficult to believe that hiring and firing a manager would not come into that category.
Not everything that is reported is clickbait.
There are some solid journalists around, and in this instance it's Parish himself who has discussed these reserved rights.
It's not unusual - it's how many boardrooms operate and, moreover, it's not unusual to have splits on decisions.

They should just toss a coin and be done with it.
