was my fav player as a kiddie, went to see him play v us but he was off with flu - that was the famous 5-0. Law played (sub?) but Bestie was awol.

His last game was in 1973 at Chelsea, it was on the big match revisited on itv4 not so long ago. I think it’s still available to download

He was just before my time of going to games so I never see him live, but from all the footage I’ve seen over the years, it amazed me how hard he could hit those old leather balls, he scored some screamers that’s for sure

His last United game was against Chelsea, but he went to play for Preston and was their player manager for a while. In fact he played at Selhurst Park in September 74 for PNE.

and the song went "Bobby's boys make more noise when they play with Tonka toys." We won 2-0 (Sunday game during 3 day week) but both teams were relegated.
